One misconception of series containing 6 books or more is that the characters remain at status quo. Or that the protagonists do not experience character development. Why else, they might think, would an author choose to write about the same characters so many times.

For anyone who’s seen the The Last Jedi and is heavily invested in the Reylo ship, try these titles out and see if you like it.
What do the following have in common with Reylo?
- The couple that form the pairing are on opposite sides. So expect both to be enemies at some point during the story
- They share a common history/experience that isolates them from the rest of the world. This is usually what brings them together. This shared experience or history that only the other can understand.
- One side insists on having the other join them. Not surprising as they are on opposing sides. However there is a “push and pull” going on. With both attracted or at the very least drawn to the other, but neither is willing to go over on the other’s side as they usually have opposing philosophies. Or in some cases, going over to the other side is just plain impossible.
